The Earthshot Prize is the most prestigious global environment prize in history, designed to incentivise change and help repair our planet over the next ten years. Centred around five ‘Earthshots’ – simple but ambitious goals for our planet which if achieved by 2030 will improve life for us all, for generations to come.
My main role was to produce a 15 minute introductory video outlining the goals of the Earthshot Prize and introduce the finalists of each category. This video was aired simultaneously on BBC, YouTube, and all social media channels. To accompany the Earthshot launch video I created 15 micro videos for social media channels showcasing the various finalists which were heavily seeded a month before the final announcement.
I was also part of a team of editors who created 5 short films explaining each category and to start the conversation about the Earthshot Prize and its importance before the announcement and subsequent BBC series.
